First day playing with music

For the past couple of days i have been practicing the music with mixed success. The first day was a struggle because i had no idea what the song should sound like. That night i went home and downloaded the track and listened to it. After practicing the next day, the song began to sound more like a song, and less like notes.

Now that I have the sax home and am playing with music, it is sounding ok. The piece is a little bit fast and hitting the higher 8th notes is sometimes a struggle at this speed.

I plan on slowing the piece down and seeing how that will go. The slower piece and the regular speed will both be put on my ipod so that further practice can take place after school.

I hope to have the song recorded by Tuesday night. This will allow me time to get it on the CD, and do other aspects of the assignment on Wednesday.
